Large Language Models (LLMs) have entered creative practice, yet their use is often limited to simple, linear prompts aimed at generating text or images. In this intensive project, we propose a fundamentally different approach: understanding AI not merely as an execution tool, but as a network of autonomous agents capable of interacting with one another.
The course addresses the creation of multi-agent systems in which distinct AI entities analyze information, debate ideas, contradict each other, and collaborate—acting as co-authors and catalysts within the artistic process.
We will begin with a critical contextualization of recent advances in AI and the power structures (economic, geopolitical, and technological) that shape their development. Next, we will explore practical tools and environments to design and orchestrate these agent workflows. The resulting projects are format- and medium-agnostic: they can range from smart physical objects (using sensors or microcontrollers) to interactive installations, web applications, or purely virtual artifacts.
