Innovative Materials and Processing This course explores the key drivers of innovation in textiles, including sustainability, technological advancements, and evolving market demands. Participants will examine cutting-edge textile materials and processes, such as smart textiles, energy-harvesting fabrics, conductive fibers, thermoregulating garments, and protective materials like EMI shielding and camouflage textiles. The course also covers sustainable manufacturing methods, including waterless dyeing, bio-based dyeing, digital printing, and nanotechnology-enhanced textiles. Additionally, emerging fields like self-cleaning fabrics, shape-memory textiles, and biodegradable materials are explored, offering insights into the future of functional and high-performance textiles.
