Mathematisch - naturwissenschaftliche Grundlagen (Textile Chemistry) Chemistry is like an adventure that begins with the smallest building blocks, atoms. These atoms combine to form molecules, which make up everything around us. Moving further, we explore polymers, long chains of molecules that form materials such as plastics and textile fibers. The journey continues into textiles, where fibers are converted into fabrics. Finally, we study dyes and auxiliaries, which give textiles color, softness, and functional properties, making them more useful and sustainable. This course shows how chemistry influences the materials we use in everyday life. Assessment - Group presentation: 30%
- Documentation: 70%
Prerequisite for admission to the examination: Completion of laboratory work and submission of all laboratory reports. |
